Etobicoke defeated the Mississauga Chiefs earlier today in a
shoot-out to win the Gold Medal at the Mississauga Chiefs Christmas
Classic Tournament.
Etobicoke opened the game very strong with a number of very
solid chances early on. However, Mississauga opened the scoring in
the first period on a power play at 10:42 on a goal by Monica
Masucci.
Etobicoke continued to press and got the equalizer when
Mississauga's Hillary Lloyd took a tripping penalty at the five
minute mark of the second period. Etobicoke's powerplay pressed

The Mississauga Tournament schedule has been released.
Etobicoke opens the tournament against the Mississauga Chiefs on
Dec 27 at 10:15am at the Iceland Arena. Later that same day,
Etobicoke will be playing Barrie at 5:15 again at Iceland.
On the 28th, Etobicoke will first play Victory Honda at 10:45am
and then, depending on the standings, will play later in the day
sometime between 5 pm and 7 pm.
